JULIUS TART OPTICAL was founded by Richard Tart, Julius's nephew, in 2016. Mr. Richard's desire is to honor the work of his uncle, founder of Tart Optical Entreprises dating from 1950.

The brand is inspired by the art, culture and design of modern New York, while nostalgically retaining the image of New York from the 1950s.

On the production side, JULIUS TRAT OPTICAL has chosen the excellence of Japanese artisanal manufacturing.
