Fueled by his passion for finding new ways to revolutionize eyewear industry, Philip Oliver Goldsmith came across a local buttons factory which used a revolutionary raw material : colored plastic.
A few sheets of this radical new material were purchased, Philip returned to his workshop, emerging a few weeks later with the first colored eyeglass frames.
